Transatlantic Dialogue: Jointly Charting a New Blueprint for Smart Cities—Aoro International Holds In-Depth Discussions with the Buenos Aires City Government
Recently, the Aoruo International team held an online meeting with the Buenos Aires City Government in Argentina. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as urban renewal, smart city development, artificial intelligence applications, and cooperation in innovative industries. They also discussed the development of Argentina’s Microcentro innovation district, opening a new chapter in smart city cooperation between China and Argentina. During this meeting, the Aoruo International team held in-depth discussions with two key officials from the Buenos Aires City Government: Geraldine Gueron, Director General of the Department of Science and Technology, and Federico Pinho, Director General of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Development. The two sides engaged in extensive exchanges focused on areas such as AI, autonomous vehicles, drones, smart transportation, digital culture and tourism, and the integration of urban lighting and smart systems. They also explored future cooperation models in light of the development plan for the Microcentro Innovation District. The meeting provided an overview of the Microcentro Innovation District development plan currently underway in Buenos Aires. In the future, the district will prioritize the development of industries such as artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, smart transportation, and the digital economy. Through policy support and the cultivation of an innovation ecosystem, the district aims to become a model for science and technology innovation with international influence. During the exchange, Aoruo International highlighted its independently developed integrated photovoltaic solution combining wind, solar, energy storage, display, and lighting technologies. This solution integrates renewable energy, energy storage systems, smart LED displays, smart lighting, and digital content, and can be widely applied in urban public spaces, commercial districts, cultural and tourism attractions, transportation hubs, and other settings, providing a green, low-carbon, and efficient comprehensive solution for smart city development. Both sides agreed that future urban development requires not only advanced digital infrastructure but also the deep integration of technology and urban spaces. Through innovative applications such as AI technology, smart displays, digital light and shadow effects, and smart lighting, it is possible to further enhance the efficiency of urban management, enrich cultural and tourism experiences, stimulate the nighttime economy, and promote high-quality urban development. At the same time, Aoro International will actively integrate Shenzhen’s high-quality science and technology innovation resources and fully leverage the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area’s industrial strengths in artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, new energy, and digital display. The company will provide end-to-end technical support for local demonstration projects—from solution design, product supply, and system integration to project implementation—to promote the practical application of more innovative achievements. This online meeting not only deepened mutual understanding between the two sides but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation. Moving forward, Aoruo International will continue to strengthen its partnership with Argentina, actively promote the implementation of China-Argentina smart city projects, empower urban development through technological innovation, illuminate the cities of the future with green and smart solutions, and contribute more Chinese solutions to global smart city development.
